tonight, i went to la casa de Havemann.
They are the smartest, cutest family... and they all happen to wear moustaches!

Dan the man has been growing a blonde moustache. "black haired ppl are so lucky" says dan the man. So today is MASCARA DAY... we turned Dan's bondie into a blackie :)



As a parent, you know you're doing a good job raising your kids when they start to imitate the awesome things you try to do yourself. As a movember fundraiser person, you know you're doing good, not by the money you raise, but by how many other girls you can get to wear moustaches in public. THANK YOU FOR THE GRAPE FLAVORED WAX MOUSTACHE!!! It's the best gift i could ask for in this month :)


There was a giant dog on state street who was really interested in my moustache. Looking back at it, i should have given him one to complete his ensemble. drat. next time.

Waiting for the train, a little boy said to me, "you're rockin that moustache!" ..thank you young man. :D Also while waiting for the train, i turned around and there was a teenage girls face in my face. Then she said (rather loudly) to her friend, "that's not real!!!" It was really funny, and i didn't mind. But what if it had been real???

Outside of the bar, 2 girls walked by and one gave me a 'hell yeah' sign with her hand.
I just thought she was like all the other ppl doing the same thing, but as she walked closer and passed me, i realized that she had a REAL baby moustache!!! I felt bad... like i was mocking her. I don't think she gave it a second thought though.




At La Nueva Mexicana, my moustache scared a little girl. what a sad day for me... i LOVE kids!!! I can usually make them smile, not shy away.

We thought that i would fit in well at a mexican restaraunt, but i had the biggest moustache of anyone eating or working there!
I went to use the restroom, and the women's room was full. One of the waiters let me in the mens bathroom, saying 'you're a man tonight, so its ok' haha! nice.

a moustache brings a thousand smiles

as a girl wearing a moustache, i have many things to say...

Mustaches are sooooo itchy!

Older women keep staring at me and not laughing or smiling, their stare basically says "why are you disrupting society?"

People keep pointing to their own upper lip as we pass. Many of them even add the caption "do you know you have something here?" duh.

People on the street have replaced asking me for money, with a giant grin :)

When a gym says that they don't judge you... IT'S SO TRUE!! while taking a class at the gym today, nobody stared, laughed or even flinched that i was wearing a big furry pink thing on my face. awesome.

Wearing this thing makes me eat differently. I had an apple this evening, and i had to eat it with my bottom teeth b/c eating it normally interfered with my moustache. and on that note... moustaches are so dirty!! every time i eat, i have to wipe off the bottom of my 'stache. i know it has the nickname 'flavor savor' but i vote EEEEWWWW.
The nurses at the doctors office loved the pink moustache :)

I was ordering a bagel, and the woman waited until i was paying to say, "do you know you have something on your face?" wow. maybe b/c it's pink. Yesterday i was a little sad after so many ppl pointed and laughed at me, but now i'm ok. I counteract their pointing with a smile and a wave. works great.
